The Twelve Traditions provide guidelines for relations between groups, members, the World Movement and society at large. Questions of finance, public relations, donations and objectives are addressed in the Traditions. The Traditions are available in short and long form. The Traditions were first published in the AA Grapevine in April 1946 under the title “Twelve points to secure our future”.
